An alternative measure to prison: a community advantage
The Société Elizabeth Fry du Québec was founded in 1977 to help women in conflict with the law, particularly those released from prison, who are in need of a welcoming resource to make a fresh start in life. The Société is a unique organization not only because of its mission, but also because there are very few resources that exist exclusively to help women who have problems with the judicial system.
Over the years, the Société has developed different services and programs to assist these women with their social integration. It has grown along with the needs of its clientele. It is important to note that the needs of the clientele are more and more numerous and complex. For more than 30 years, the Société has offered a variety of services adapted to the difficulties and realities of these women thanks to the contribution of those individuals who are sensitive to our mission and ready to support it. We need your support to fulfill our mission and to develop new projects.
We have many projects but we are not able to realize them without your help. Your donation is precious and is a beacon of hope for many of these disadvantaged women.
